STARS ON STAGE
A Partnership between Broken Arrow PAC and Broken Arrow Public Schools

Welcome to STARS ON STAGE at Broken Arrow Public Schools!

Broken Arrow Public Schools is empowering children with disabilities to develop creative skills related to the theatre arts because we believe everyone deserves access to the arts. Broken Arrow Public Schools is seeking young artists and star peers from 5th-12th grades. To participate you must be a current BAPS student or BAPS graduate up to 22 years of age. There is no fee to participate in this program.

Over the past four incredible seasons, we’ve brought unforgettable productions to life with these extraordinary kids—”Seussical Kids,” “The Lion King Kids,” “The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition” and “Shrek The Musical, JR,” and the excitement is far from over!

Stay Tuned for the Upcoming Season! Once the 25-26 school year is underway, this page will be your go-to resource for registration and key details. Whether you're signing up as an Artist or a Peer, you'll find everything you need right here. We can't wait for you to be part of something incredible!

Participants:

Star Artists with Developmental Disabilities
Looking for artists from 5th-12th grades for the Stars On Stage program. This program provides children with all abilities the chance to shine. There are no restrictions based on the level of cognitive ability, restriction of mobility, or lack of communication skills.

Star Peers
Looking for volunteers from 5th-12th grades to participate in the Stars On Stage program as peers. Star Peers rehearse alongside their partners, The Stars, who are differently-abled students or alumni. Star Peers learn the Stars' lines, music and choreography so they can assist throughout rehearsals and even onstage during productions. Star Peers will be costumed to mirror their Stars and will assist them as needed.

When do rehearsals start?
TBA after the 2025-2026 school year begins.
